English: Lieutenant Nakamura, his head covered with a white hood, is led to the scaffold where he will be hung after being found guilty of beheading an Indian soldier with his sword on the Pulau Islands. 日本語: 中村邦之中尉、一九四四年四月二七日頃にパラオ群島バベルダオブ島で発生した印度人元俘虜に対する虐待致死を起訴内容とした事件で、当時、特設勤務中隊小隊長であつた中村中尉は、一九四六年二月四日に死刑判決を受け、三月十四日に処刑された |

Two further war criminals were also executed on 14 March 1946. These were Captain Kamai Mitsuo and Sergeant Major Kishima, both found guilty of severely beating Allied prisoners of war at Kanbury Camp on the Burma Railway. A number of the prisoners died from injured inflicted during the beatings.
