Deutsch: Das Tanner Moor ist das größte Latschen-Hochmoor Österreichs. Fehler der Vergangenheit, insbesondere die Anlage von rund 60 Drainagegräben mit einer Gesamtlänge von 12 Kilometern und die Aufforstung mit standortfremden Fichtenforsten zwecks Holzproduktion, führten zu einem Sinken des Grundwasserspiegels und damit zum Vertrocknen des Moores. 2019 begann deshalb ein Revitalisierungsprojekt zum Wiedervernässen des sensiblen Lebensraumes. Dabei wurden die Gräben mit über 500 Spundwänden eingestaut und abschnittsweise mit Verschlüssen aus Torf verfüllt, um ein Anheben des Grundwasserspiegels zu erreichen. Zusätzlich werden die Fichtenforste entfernt, sodass sich wieder ein moortypische Vegetation mit Torfmoosen entwickeln kann, wie sie auch im Bild zu sehen ist.
