Español: LIBRA.
Esta constelación zodiacal contiene la nebulosa planetaria Me 2-1 (Catálogo Merrill) de magnitud aparente de +11 y 6” de diámetro, las dos galaxias elípticas brillantes NGC 5898 y NGC 5903 y un interesante cúmulo globular denominado NGC 5897 situado a 1º 43’ de la estrella IOTA LIBRA y a 5º de SIGMA LIBRA (Zubernakravi). El cúmulo globular NGC 5897 tiene una dimensión de 12,6’, una ma gnitud aparente de +8,55 y a una distancia del Sol de 12.100 parsecs (39.446 años luz). Se lo puede resolver con unos buenos binoculares o con un pequeño telescopio en una noche clara y sin Luna. Desde nuestras latitudes (-37º) NGC 5897 se lo ve pasar por el meridiano del lugar (culminación superior) a una altura aproximadamente de 74º y observando hacia el horizonte Norte.
