Object history Text: Late 12c; Yorkshire; Fountains Abbey, Yorkshire
Notes Whittawed skin over wooden boards. 1 brass clasp catching on to pin nearly in centre of the lower cover. Smooth spine with tabs at head and tail. Julian Harrison writes "ms written by a French scribe in France or England second half of 12c. Gloss written contemporaneously, perhaps by same scribe. Bound very soon after ms was made by first half of 13c at the latest."
