Description

Liart (Ardennes, France) -
Intérieur de l'église Notre-Dame.
Statue de Saint Antoine de Padoue (curieusement assez mal positionnée sur son socle ... sans toutefois être en déséquilibre) et motif baroque (XVIIème Siècle) au-dessus de la porte (en sortant de la nef, avant la salle de garde sous le clocher) représentant la Sainte Trinité.
Il s'agit d'une "gloire", avec le triangle symbolisant la Trinité reposant sur (ou transperçant) de sombres nuages d'où jaillissent les puissants rayons de la lumière divine. Ce panneau de bois peint est orné dans sa partie supérieure et centrale d'un petit élément en relief, un dais à pompons dont certains ont manifestement disparu. Il reste peut-être à savoir si les deux sortes de couronnes dorées (et au centre d'un rouge sang) ont une signification particulière, autre que d'être un "banal" motif floral.
