Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Princess Irene, from the novel The Prince of India by Lew Wallace; carved on limestone frieze on the north side of the Wallace study in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The carving was done under Wallace's supervision, and is presumably a good representation of the author's own image of the character.
