Description Linteau datant de 1591 d'une maison du village de Levens (Alpes-Maritimes, France). La phrase en latin ("Pax huic domui et in ea omnibus habitantibus") signifie : "Paix à cette maison et à tous ses habitants". IHS surmonté de la croix est un monogramme latin pour Jésus : "Iesus Hominum Salvator" ("Jésus Sauveur des hommes").
