Description
Français : Figurine en biscuit de la Manufacture de Sèvres (1912, 35 cm), d'après une sculpture en marbre de Henri Louis Levasseur (1853-1934), présentée sous le titre "l'enfant à la cornemuse" au Salon de la Société des artistes français en 1911, où elle a été achetée par l'Etat pour le Musée Mandet de Riom. Un petit faune souffle dans une cornemuse trop grande pour lui, appuyée sur un pied de vigne. L'instrument est du type zampogna, avec deux bourdons et deux tuyaux de mélodie (collection particulière).
