Summary

[edit]
Description

Leucospermum cordifolium, called red pincushion protea, is a shrub native to South Africa.

An interesting, evergreen spreading shrub with broad, silvery/grey leaves and orange/red flower heads that look just like colourful pin-cushions. Makes for a terrific display when planted en-masse - but it's a sensitive little devil and can be tricky to grow unless conditions are just right (which includes low humidity)
