Letter from Richard Abegg to Georg Bredig |
||||||||||||||||||||
Description |
Richard Abegg (1869-1910), a German chemist and pioneer of valence theory, compliments Georg Bredig (1868-1944) on his work in physical chemistry and anticipates Georg's progress in the field after completing his habilitation thesis. Abegg additionally discusses the current work of other chemists and contends that Svante Arrhenius (1859-1927) first determined the thermodynamic distinctiveness of ions. |
