Letters written by school age children from Camp Pendleton and addressed to Lieutenant General Walter E. Boomer upon his return from the Persian Gulf. The letters contain art work and references to the Marines' overseas deployments. "Dear Lt. General Boomer, How are you doing? We are glad you are back in Camp Pendleton. My dad is coming back sometime in June. I hope you will have fun at our icecream party. We are waiting for the time we can see you. You must be a great marine.
