Deutsch: Gelände am Lethkogel, Stainz, Steiermark, Österreich: archäologische Fundstelle einer Siedlung aus der Keltenzeit. Das Gelände der historischen Siedlung liegt auf dem viereckigen Gipfelplateau des Lethkogels, an dessen Hängen Hangstufen (Bermen) erkennbar sind. Das Gelände ist in alter Zeit durch die keltische Siedlung, aber auch rezent im Südwesten durch den Bau des Hochbehälters der Wasserversorgung von Stainz, im Nordosten durch einen Steinbruch sowie insgesamt durch Zufahrtswege zur Stainzer Warte geformt worden. Ob eine Geländeunebenheit auf die alte Siedlung und deren Befestigungen (z. B. die den Hügel umlaufende Berme?) zurückzuführen ist oder auf neuzeitliche Veränderungen, ist nur durch Prüfung vor Ort und anhand der Grabungsunterlagen entscheidbar. |
