Summary

Description

Hunter Lake Trail, Reno, Nevada, 20140531

What is special about this one Cercocarpus? All the rest in the area have no lichens. This one has a thriving population of Letharia, Lecanora, Melanohalea, together with a few other species. It was, admittedly, particularly old, but there were other old trees in present, as well.
