Description
English: Header of a school report / report card of Privatschule für Mädchen (= Private School for Girls) in Berlin-Grunewald, 19 Brahmsstrasse which got founded in 1930 by female educator Toni Lessler (1874–1952). This school for girls was an elementary school, a middle school and a high school. In 1932 it moved to a larger villa nearby in 56 Hagenstrasse, where it from 1933 also ingested boys and got renamed as Private Waldschule Grunewald. Due to Nazi regulations boys and girls weren't supposed to get coeducated, but to be taught separately in classes for boys and in classes for girls.
Deutsch: Zeugnisformularkopf der von Toni Lessler gegründeten und geleiteten Privatschule für Mädchen, Berlin-Grunewald, Brahms-Straße 19, die von 1930 bis 1932 unter dieser Anschrift residierte und 1932 in eine größere Villa in der benachbarten Hagenstraße 56, Ecke Teplitzer Straße, umzog, wo sie ab 1933 unter der neuen Bezeichnung Private Waldschule Grunewald auch Knaben aufnahm, die aufgrund der NS-Vorgaben nicht in Koedukation, sondern in separaten Klassen unterrichtet werden mussten.
