New to Herts - Beautiful Marbled Courtesy of my lucky garden trap here in Stevenage, North Herts.. the Beautiful Marbled will be the moth of 2019 for me and my second best moth i've ever had the good fortune to observe in my home trap. It just goes to show that anything can turn up! it is moth no.716 for my garden. Another moth of note and never common, was Epinotia ramella. Seemingly scarce for my garden. Lesser Broad-bordered Yellow Underwing was also new, 4 examples turned up last Friday. I keep checking for Langmaid's! Garden species count for 2019 now upto 370.
