Description
Français : Les vents déferlants. Œuvre de Paul Béliveau inaugurée en 2002 et localisée sur le terre-plein central l'avenue Honoré-Mercier à Québec. « Taillée comme une voile aurique, Québec émerge des eaux tel un élégant galion filant sur l'horizon. Il en va de même pour l'église du Faubourg dominant fièrement l'onde des mansardes. Enluminant la rosace de ce temple placé sous l'égide de saint Jean-Baptiste, patron des Canadiens français, des éperlans font la fête à une nation qui, à l'instar des sa capitale fortifiée, se dresse contre vents et marées.  »
