Description
Français : Un plan rapproché sur le skiff du "Saint Antoine Marie II". Sur un thonier-senneur, le skiff est l'embarcation auxiliaire avec laquelle la senne (le filet de pêche) est tractée pour être mise à l' eau et être disposée en rond afin d' encercler les thons. La senne forme alors comme un cylindre donc le fond est fermé pour emprisonner les poissons. Le skiff a un moteur puissant et son hélice est à l'intérieure d'une cage ouverte et grillagée. Cette protection évite que le filet de pêche soit détérioré par l' hélice. Sur le skiff, on peut remarquer la présence de deux crochets qui servent à y fixer la senne. Le thonier-senneur "Saint Antoine Marie II" a été construit en 2004 aux chantiers Piriou de Concarneau. Il mesure 43,10 mètres de long et 9,50 mètres de large. Il est équipé de deux moteurs de 400 kw. Il a des installations frigorifiques consistant en 5 cuves à poisson d' un volume total de 253 m3 et des machines à fabriquer la glace (glace écaille et liquide). Immatriculation: PV 916346.
