Description
Français : Les sœurs Amadou, de leurs vrais noms Madeleine-Marie et Clotilde-Joséphine Chéreau (1808-1878 et 1812-1880) sont des musiciennes de rues de Nantes, connues à la fin 19e siècle. Surnommées Coquette et Papillon, elles jouent de la guitare et chantent des chansons d'amour.
English: The Amadou sisters, whose real names were Madeleine-Marie and Clotilde-Joséphine Chéreau (1808-1878 and 1812-1880), were street musicians in Nantes at the end of the 19th century. Nicknamed Coquette and Papillon, they played the guitar and sang love songs.
