Description
English: Outre ces courbes, la Renaissance amène également l'héritage de l’antiquité dont les très célèbres colonnes corinthiennes. Le musée dispose également d'une véritable maison à colombage issue également d'un déplacement avant destruction dû à la grande percée. Encore une fois, le conservateur Hans Haug usa de sa culture pour justifier la facilité de la pratique. En effet, le déplacement de maison à colombage était courant avant le XIXe siècle en Alsace et toute les poutres furent déplacées pour compléter cet immense musée à la gloire des œuvres de la cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg voisine.
