Description

Acier, ciment blanc

Réalisation en 1983 dans le cadre du programme RELAIS du gouvernement du Canada. Acquisition en 2010, par cession de la Paroisse Saint-Roch à la ville de Montréal.

Située sur la rue Amherst (Le Village, Montréal) dans le parc Miville-Couture

L’œuvre évoque la solidarité ainsi que les valeurs d’entraide et de compassion inhérentes a la mission de la Maison du Père, un organisme qui depuis 1970 offre beaucoup plus qu’un refuge aux hommes en difficulté. Elle leur propose un accompagnement dans la recherche d’une vie meilleure.
