Le bélier femble courirà grands pas pour annoncer la fuite quil favorife. Ses pieds dederrière touchent à la mer, fuivant le fentiment du plus grandnombre des Mythologues , & ce qui ne laifle point de doute furnotre interprétation , ceft le foin que le peintre a eu de repré-fenter des dauphins que lon fait être en grand nombre dans ledétroit des Dardanelles.
