au verd , &Centortillée dune guirlande rouge. Le chapiteau & la cornichefont rouges auffi , à la réferve de la frife qui eft peinte commela colonne. Mais les trygliphes & les métopes font rouges. Lef-pèce de pilaflre, ou la bande perpendiculaire , eft de couleurverte. Lautre colonne qui sélève fur la corniche eft jaune,ainft que tous les ornemens, les anneaux & les feuillages. Labordure des deux petites marines quarrées-longues eft rouge:les dilTérens objets de ces deux peintures font repréfentés au na-turel ; on diftingue parfaitement la mer , les édifices , les valf-feaux , & les figures qui donnent du mouvement à ces deuxcompofitions femblables , à quelques différences près de peudimportance. Ces deux Tableaux foutiennent chacun un bâton ,efpèce de petite colonne , fur lequel eft un van , ou un vafequi en a la forme . & la couleur de largent. Des feftons verds ,§(. des bandelettes rçuges liéçs enfemble paflent dans lanfe, & laiflent

Les oifeaux pofés deffusfont dun blanc qm tire fur le bleu : ce pourroit bien être desColombes qui fe font lamour. Un autre grand édifice occupele fond du Tableau ; il eft com.nofé de quatre colonnes avecleur chapiteau, dordre ionique ; leur bafe font attique. Ondiftingue parfaitement fur la corniche & la frife , les trygly-phes, les métopes armés de petits crochets .& deux dau-phins placés à lextrémité. Le tout eft dun blanc fale. Les deuxpilaftres inférieurs font verds. Les deux parties latérales de ceTableau fe relTemblent encore; on voit dabord un hyppo-gryphe jaune fur un piedeftal cube de la même couleur. Il fou-tient avec fes aîks une petite roue, dont le fond eft verd. Lecercle & la fleur du milieu font rouge
