Français : Son histoire remonte en effet aux romains qui, étant frappés par la beauté des deux grands rochers émergeant au sein des flots, à l’ouest de la rade, l’avaient baptisé “Ad Fratres” (les deux frères).
À l’époque romaine, la ville s’appelait Ad Fratres (les deux frères) à cause de deux rochers de 25 m à proximité de la côte…. Il y a très longtemps, deux frères gardaient leurs moutons sur le sommet d’une montagne, dans la région de Ghazaouet. Tout à coup, ils virent un serpent, et n’ayant pas le choix, ils durent le tuer; brusquement, le reptile se transforma en une vieille et méchante femme ayant de pouvoirs surnaturels et réduisit les deux jeunes hommes en statues de pierre… Alors, à chaque fois que les deux frères pleuraient, la mer se mettait en colère et provoquait un Tsunami…. Et depuis, les “Deux-Frères” se dressent à l’entrée de la rade du port de Ad-Fratès, Ghzaouana, Nemours, Ghazaouet comme deux gardiens … pour l’éternité ! |
