PHILIPPE NAPOLEON LEMIEUX Philippe-Napoléon Lemieux, lils de Anthime Lemieuxet de Exélie Fournier, naquit à Sainte-Victoire dArtha-baska, le 4 janvier 1871, et il y décéda le 27 juillet 1923. Alphonsine Fournier, veuve de Philippe NapoléonLemieux, demeure actuellement à Victoriaville. Père et mère de Albert Lemieux, né à Victoriavillele 23 février 1899, actuellement rendu à Plessisville. Albert Lemieux est né poète. Sa muse est vérita-blement agréable à entendre. Il est lauteur de plusieurssonnets sur les Bois-Francs. Ils sont encore inédits.Espérons quils seront publiés avant longtemps. Albert Lemieux, qui sintéresse beaucoup à notre his-toire régionale, a bien voulu nous gratifier de deux joliespoésies. Lune, nous lavons vu, chante lantique chapellede Saint-Louis, bâtie en 1835 par Charles Héon. Lautrepoésie, notre poète la dédiée à la pieuse mémoire de sesaïeux.
