Summary

[edit]
LERKAKA Runsten socken                       Ölands runinskrifter 37

RUNSTEN med inskrift från 1000-talet e. Kr.

     Olof och Gammal och Saxe reste denna sten
     efter Unn, sin fader. Geirvi lät efter sin
     make här (göra) denna minnesvård.
     För Rike-Unn hämnades Olof vid miomu;
     Unn ägde här halva byn.

Namnet på platsen där hämnades ägde rum är otolkat. Senare
delen av inskriften är i versform, vilket inte framgår av
översättningen.
