Description
English: Portrait of Marie-Caroline of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, Duchess of Berry (1798-1870), miniature depicting the Duchesse inset into a gilt-bronze frame signed by Alphonse Giroux and decorated with a pattern of natural fleur-de-lys, her initials and crowned by her coat of arms. It was given by her to Comtesse de Caumont from Derchigny castle who she often visited while she stayed at Dieppe. Illustrated in, Entre Cour et Jardin, Sceaux 2007, p.185.
