Description

Leaves aromatic when crushed - so called "Tea-tree", but it is NOT the plant from which tea tree oil is obtained, The common name tea-tree derives from the practice of early settlers of soaking the leaves of several species in boiling water to make a tea substitute.

Tea-tree oil extraction comes from Melaleuca alternifolia
