Description Leptogium burnetiae C.W. Dodge, 1964 (photograph of a herbarium specimen showing a slate gray thallus) Growing on a shaded cliff along McKellar Creek, ca. 7 miles W of Neys Park on Route 17, Thunder Bay District, Ontario, Canada; collected and identified by Richard E. Riefner (No. 81-624, 2 Aug 1981); specimen is now in the Lichen Herbarium of the New York Botanical Garden.
