Magyar: Potrohukból viaszszerű anyagot izzadnak ki, amely folyamatosan termelődik. A viaszfonalakból álló sűrű gyapjas pehellyel körbe burkolják magukat és azokat a helyeket is, ahol megtelepednek, ami védelmet nyújt a ragadozók és a kiszáradás ellen.
