Material: Wood Period: Around 19th cent. Technique: Polychrome The wooden decorative tiles had been earlier used as panels fixed on the partition door of Prayer Hall in Lepcha Bong Gumpa Monastery. The tiles are in various shapes and sizes. These are polychrome wooden tiles which have floral and other curved motifs in different colours. These are as old as the Gumpa itself. (as per museum label) |
