Deutsch: Innenansicht der röm.-kath. Pfarrkirche Am Tabor bzw. Auferstehung-Christi-Kirche im 2. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Leopoldstadt. Die Kirche, ein fensterloser Langbau mit zwei niedrigen Seitenschiffen zwischen zwei Wohnblöcken, wurde ab 1967 (Spatenstich am 21. Mai 1967) nach Plänen von Ladislaus Hruska errichtet und am 17. Jänner 1971 geweiht. Die zentrale Figur an der Altarwand ist ein Holzkreuz von dem Tiroler Künstlers Peter Sellemond und davor der Altarː [1]. Links im Seitenschiff befindet sich der Tabernakelstein aus Krastaler Rauchkristall und mit einer goldenen Kugel, den der akademische Malers und Bildhauer Günther Kraus schuf. Im rechten Seitenschiff steht eine Madonnenstatue aus Lindenholz. Diese Plastik wurde vom Künstler als Gegenstück zum gewichtigen Tabernakelstein konzipiertː [2]. |
