Čeština: Lenka Šmerdová, rozená Mendlíková, (* 20. května 1964 Slavičín) je česká brigádní generálka armády České republiky ve výslužbě. (Jako první žena byla v této hodnosti v české armádě.) Předtím se už stala také první ženou české armády v hodnosti plukovnice. V roce 2024 ve funkci manažerky pro strategická partnerství a filantropii v organizaci Český červený kříž. Na vernisáži výstavy děl akademického malíře Pavla Vavryse (* 1947) v pražské Písecké bráně (K Brusce 208/5, 160 00 Praha 6 - Hradčany) dne 5. června 2024.
English: Lenka Šmerdová, née Mendlíková, (born 20 May 1964 in Slavičín) is a retired Czech Brigadier General of the Czech Army (the first woman to hold this rank in the Czech Army). Before that, she also became the first woman in the Czech army with the rank of colonel. In 2024, she will serve as Manager for Strategic Partnerships and Philanthropy at the Czech Red Cross. At the opening of the exhibition of works by the academic painter Pavel Vavrys (* 1947) at the Písecká brána in Prague (K Brusce 208/5, 160 00 Prague 6 - Hradčany) on 5 June 2024.
