Description
English: Huge iron Lenin statue in the center of the Lenin square (площадь Ленина) of Donetsk. The long square is located between the Artema str. (вул. Артема) and the Postysheva str. (вул. Постишева), in the center of the city.

Donetsk (Ukrainian: Донецьк, translit. Donets’k; Russian: Донецк, translit. Donetsk; former names: Yuzovka, Staline, Stalino), is a large city in eastern Ukraine on the Kalmius river. Administratively, it is a center of Donetsk Oblast, while historically, it is the unofficial capital and largest city of the economic and cultural Donets Basin (Donbass) region.
