Transcript InfoField | Reichsgericht. this majestic Court of Justice was begun in 1888 and completed in 1895 at a cost of £300,000. Its architect was Ludwig Hoffmann. Its copper-plated dome is 224 feet high, and upon it stands a gigantic bronze figure of Truth, - the work of Otto Lessing. The sittings of the Court are open to the public and the sculpture and stained glass of the huge Waiting Room are worthy of high praise. |
