Description Town Hall, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Designed by Cuthbert Brodrick, built 1853-1858. Showing the back (north) entrance to the law courts, as viewed from the site of the entrance to the Mawer Group's stoneyard. Every time they went in and out, they could see a keystone head of Pluto (rich man), Hercules representing the immense labour of erecting this pile (poor man), and one of William Ingle's sheep or fleece sculptures.
