English: #FreighterFriday A lock and dam operator stands by as the Lee A. Tregurtha makes her way into the Poe Lock in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. at lunchtime today. The ship is the second oldest freighter operating on the Great Lakes, launched in 1942 as a Navy tanker, she earned battle stripes in both the Atlantic and Pacific Theaters during World War II.
