Title
Leaf Shaped Arrowhead from Roxby cum Risby
Description
English: White patinated flint.

Arrowhead. A knapped leaf-shaped arrowhead; the entire surface is finely worked with the pressure flaked removal of fairly long flakes, skilfully reducing it to a thin biconvex form. This object is more elongated than other examples from the vicinity, and may even reflect an acquaintance with finely worked lozenge-shaped points. Suggested date: Neolithic, 3500-2100 BC.

Length: 32.2mm, Width: 15.4mm, Thickness: 4.8mm, Weight: 2.27gms.
