English: Cast lead spindle whorl. Circular, domed spindle whorl with irregular circular hole through the centre. Decorated on both sides with a single line in relief forming a 4-pointed star shape.

Diameter 29.7mm, thickness 10.0mm, weight 40.50g

Spindle whorls are difficult to date since they were used in a very similar form for many centuries. This could therefore be from any period from Roman to early post medieval.
