Title |
Lead shot, unseparated from the excess lead used in the casting process |
||
Description |
English: Two pieces of spherical shot within a sheet of lead. Evidently the lead was poured into a mould when it was molten, yet the shot were never cut from the surrounding excess lead when they were cool. The shot are small, at around 10 mm in diameter, and probably were intended to be ammunition for a 17th century pistol. |
