Description |
English: Cast lead alloy mount or fitting in the form of a lion's head with a mane. The object is tear-drop shaped with the widest part being at the top of the head, narrowing below the chin, then broken across what may have formed a circular sectioned stem. In profile the features of the lion are prominent. The back of the object is concave. There is a faint casting line around the sides of the head. Length 24.44mm, Width 18.16mm, Thickness 9.80mm, weight 10.13g. |
