English: Lead Mines Chimney above Rhydtalog High up on the limestone open access land above Rhydtalog, this chimney and its associated lead mining shafts are in a very remote location. In the far distance, the ultra modern Castle Cement works at Penymynydd can be seen at the side of the old stone chimney. I wonder which will still be standing 100 years from now? |
