Le sanctuaire shinto Kazahinomi no miya, dédié au kami/dieu/déesse du vent Shinatsuhiko, est situé dans l'enceinte du sanctuaire intérieur (naiku) d'Ise (Ise Jingu) <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shinatsuhiko" rel="nofollow">en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shinatsuhiko</a> Le Kamikazé est le vent qui souffle sur la région du grand sanctuaire d'Ise. Au cours du XIIIème siècle, le "vent divin" Kamikazé (typhon) a par deux fois sauvé le Japon d'une invasion par les Mongols en anéantissant leur flotte, c'est une des raisons de cette divinisation du vent. Le terme a ensuite été utilisé par l'armée japonaise lors de la seconde guerre mondiale pour qualifier les missions suicides de pilotes contre l'armée américaine. Au premier plan, l'espace libre adjacent au sanctuaire en bois (en forme traditionnelle de grenier à riz) est le lieu de l'ancien sanctuaire dont la reconstruction à l'identique est effectuée tous les 20 ans sur place de manière alternée. Le sanctuaire shinto d'Ise est le plus important du Japon. Il fait partie d'un parc national et comprend une centaine de bâtiments, avec deux sites majeurs : le sanctuaire intérieur (naiku) dédié à la déesse solaire Amaterasu et le sanctuaire extérieur (geku) dédié à la déesse de la nourriture Toyouke.
