Description
Français : Le pirmil « Doody » amarré à triple dans le bassin d’échouage du port de La Rochelle lors d’une manifestation nautique de vieux gréements. Ce bateau, qui est un canot avirons-voiles, a été construit en 2005 sur la base de la coque d’un pirmil retrouvée dans la vase (près de Nantes). Il mesure 4,85 mètres de long et 1,6 mètre de large. Sa coque est en polyester et l’habillage en bois. « Doody » est une version améliorée de la coque retrouvée et il n’est pas totalement un vieux gréement. Immatriculation : LR C64893. Le pirmil est un canot de l’estuaire de la Loire, d’origine basse-indraisse (commune d’Indre) de la fin du XIXème siècle. « Pirmil » viendrait du nom d'un des bras nantais de la Loire. Ce type de canot était utilisé à la fois pour la pêche et des régates.
