Description
Français : Le paquebot côtier "Kong Olav" en train de sortir du port de Vadsø. Ce navire a été lancé en 1964 en Norvège. De 1964 à 1997, le « Kong Olav » a servi sur l’ Hurtigruten (la ligne de l’ express côtier norvégien qui dessert 34 ports de Bergen à Kirkenes. En 1997, il a été vendu à un acheteur thaïlandais qui ne l’a pas utilisé. Actuellement (fin 2013), le « Kong Olav » est à quai et rouille dans un port de Birmanie. Cet ancien paquebot côtier mesure 87,40 mètres de long et 13,26 mètres de large. Il pouvait embarquer jusqu’ à 700 passagers. IMO 6401206. En 2012, une pétition a été lancée en Norvège pour que le « Kong Olav » soit ramené dans son pays d’origine.
