Description
Français : Le jardin de l'Abbaye d'Aubazine n'est pas très grand. Le désordre y est bien pensé. On le quitte avec beaucoup de regrets de ne pas avoir pu s'y attarder plus longtemps.

Cette abbaye cistercienne du 12° siècle, de nos jours, est surtout connue pour avoir été le pensionnat de Coco Chanel. Pourtant elle recèle d'autres trésors comme par exemple le plus vieux meuble connu en Europe. Peu adepte des visites guidées je m'y suis trouvé entrainé par des amis... un régal ! La culture du moine melkite (tous azimuts), ses talents de pédagogue, son don de conteur mon sidéré. Il n'y a pas d'autre mot.

J'ai appris, entre des tas d'autres choses, qui vont de l'architecture à l’étymologie, en passant par la géologie, que les Melchites sont le trait d'union entre l'occident et l'orient chrétien. Des orthodoxes qui reconnaissent le Pape de Rome. Surprenant, non ?
