Description

Le grand bassin (Khaouz) a été creusé en 1602. Il était alimenté par un canal.

C'était le plus grand réservoir de la ville mais l'eau étant à la lumière, ce mode d'approvisionnement a été à l'origine de nombreuses maladies de la population locale. Ce sont les soviétiques qui ont mis fin à ces pratiques archaïques.

Il est actuellement en travaux comme tous les bâtiments, espaces verts et rues du quartier.
