La fête de Ganesh à Paris Tout au long du parcours, des noix de coco sont brisées : la coquille symbolise l'illusion du monde, la chair le Karma individuel, et l'eau l'ego humain, en brisant la noix de coco, on offre son coeur à GANESHA. Tiré par deux grandes cordes en fibre végétale de vingt mètres chacune, le char haut d'environ cinq mètres, abrite la statue de GANESH, le dieu à tête d'éléphant. Ganesha possède cinq têtes, (Pañchamukha Ganesh), qui rappellent les cinq Maha Bhûta : eau, Terre, feu, Air, ether. Il est entièrement recouvert d'étoffes rouges et blanches et décoré de nombreuses guirlandes, de fleurs fraîches, de régimes entiers de bananes, de noix de coco et de feuilles d'aréquiers. |
