Au fond, l'église San Lorenzo, L'église date à l'origine de l'antiquité, elle a été ensuite celle d'un monastère bénédictin. Actuellement elle abrite l'exposition "Moving Off The Land II" de l'artiste américaine Joan Jonas. <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Lorenzo,_Venice" rel="noreferrer nofollow">en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Lorenzo,_Venice</a> L'artiste Joan Jonas, très inspirée par l'écologie et la protection des océans a représenté les USA lors de la biennale d'art de Venise en 2015 L’exposition de Joan Jonas « Moving Off The Land II » est le le fruit de trois années de recherches intensives dans les aquariums du monde entier ainsi que dans les eaux situées au large des côtes de la Jamaïque, à la demande de TBA21 – Academy. Organisée par Stefanie Hessler et exposée du 24 mars au 29 septembre 2019, «Moving Off the Land II» se déroule sur 500 mètres carrés de l’ancienne nef de l’église de San Lorenzo. Le spectacle comprend de nouvelles œuvres vidéo, des sculptures, des dessins et des œuvres sonores, ainsi qu’une performance le 7 mai 2019, mettant l’accent sur le rôle que les océans ont joué pour les cultures tout au long de l’histoire en tant que pierre de touche totémique, spirituelle et écologique.
