Français : Le magnifique calvaire de Confort-Meilars repose sur un socle en granite situé devant l’église Notre-Dame de Confort (ou de « Réconfort ») au centre du bourg.
Il s'agit d’un calvaire typique du courant néo-gothique breton et réalisé en kersantite (« granite de kersanton »). Il est qualifié « de deuxième ordre » avec son massif soubassement triangulaire assez élevé et dont les trois angles accueillent un contrefort munis d’une niche avec pinacles. |
