Description
Français : Le plan d'eau de la Cantache est situé entre Montreuil-sous-Pérouse et Champeaux à l'Ouest de Vitré. Il est limité par un observatoire d'oiseaux au Nord et le barrage de la Cantache au Sud. Les trois barrages autour de Vitré (Valière, Haute-Vilaine et Cantache) sont des barrages écrêteurs de crues. Les barrages de la Valière et de la Haute-Vilaine servent également de réserve d’eau pour l’alimentation en eau potable.

C'est un spot de repli intéressant pour le funboard dans la région de Vitré grâce notamment à son effet venturi.

Au fond, à gauche de la photo, on aperçoit la bourg de Montreuil. Au centre, la route Vitré - Combourg sépare le barrage. À gauche se trouve l'usine d'aliments pour bétail situé dans le village de "Gérard".
